D.O.B. Considerations Poem by Allan L. Gauntlett

D.O.B. Considerations

Was I born too late for tall ships crew,
Through seven seas for this old muse?

Was I born too soon for certain youth,
Who look at age as Dinosaur Tooth?

Was I born just ripe for World War II,
With shrunken census of High School youth?

I was born just right for my loving Wife,
Whose wisdom could cease much World strife.
