Loneliness…
—No! —the vast universe
reflected within ourselves!
—escalade and excavate these mountains
which are standing firm and erect
upon the surface of the Earth;
these cavernous dwellings of our spirits,
this labyrinthine descent
into the profundity of our beings;
though they may seem passages of darkness,
their brilliantly sparkling contortions
of rocks of flesh and sediments,
are forming with time
rose-quartz and ruby, amethyst and haematite,
with an imperceptible masterly art:
eroded by its own sorrowful crystalline tear-drops;
the liquefied gold of our blood
upon the diamond-pedestal of durity of life:
dripping…dripping…dripping…
and forming, forming, forming—
the cellular architecture of our hearts:
its uniqueness in each one of us,
the gems of each and every felt emotion
stratified in layers of strength and health,
balance and harmony, yin and yang;
solidified by endurance and wisdom,
whence sparkles of brilliant specks of minerals
form ideas of identity—forming and affirming:
the steadfast mountains
at the summit of their existence.
