Crystal Woman, A Different Prespective Poem by Jason Sailor

Crystal Woman, A Different Prespective

she's off in the corner
waiting for him
to look over to her again

she bats her eyes
between her cute little sighs
but he looks forward again

by his side
helping him through the day
she makes everything go his way

dropping hints
hoping he'll see
that they are meant to be

but she's the glass in his window
he looks right through her
looking out on the meadow
not noticing her shimmer

and she stays and waits
waiting for him
to look over to her again

a simple glace
from across the room
puts her in a trance
away from her gloom

because he makes her smile
and see for miles
through his eyes
hits her soul

she prances and dances and sings a tune
hoping he'll notice sometime soon

till then she waits
tags along and so on

by his side
keeping with his stride
once he slows down
he'll come around
