Crystal Bubble Poem by Mike Barrett

Crystal Bubble

In
Quiet
Contemplation
You came -
And then
It seemed
Within a moment
We were encased
Within
A crystal clear
Spherical bubble -
Perfect visibility
Everywhere
And rising upwardly
Within a shaft
Of pulsing
Whitish blue.

Without,
Semblances of higher beings
Each
Gazing lovingly, gently,
And knowingly
Upon us
And each
Seeming to lift us
Somehow
On our way.

Within
A joy
And
Ever increasing love
As higher
And higher
The bubble rose.

Thus it was
Until at last

- - POP - -

The bubble burst!
Then,
These words
Came out!

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I didn't record the date this poem came out, but sometime during the mid '70s. I jotted it down following a 'hyper-aware' dream experience.
