Cry the beloved child;
Cry oh Ghana!
Cry the beloved child of Africa;
With hopes and dreams,
But, with the lack of the realities of life.
Crises in the land,
Crises in the country;
Cry oh Ghana!
With various forms of abouse;
Recruited and exploited!
Predominant across the country today.
