Croweaters

In the event of a major meteorite strike in South Australia,
'all' that would be left would be humans and crows.
Because after that event they'd have to eat 'em,
not because they do (they don't) ,
others call South Aussies the title of this poem.

But psst! there'd still be carp there too -
they'd be carpeaters through and through.

They couldn't be described as carpophagous though -
that means 'fruit-eating' already (after Greek 'karpos' fruit) .
What might suit is 'carpiophagous',
after the common carp, Cyprinus Carpio.
