Creature Poem by Lyrael Myrna

Creature

Rating: 5.0

There’s something laying deep inside
Should I tell them? Or should I hide?
I wish some days I wasn’t here
Would they notice if I disappeared?

Questions always haunt my mind
Should I laugh or should I hide?
I have everyone to blame
Because nobody knows my name

As much as I would like to hide
My thoughts inside turn me down
Why me? Why not someone else?
Power to gain, but is it for myself?

Questions always haunt my mind
Should I laugh or should I cry?
I have everyone to blame
Because nobody knows my name

There’s something laying deep inside
This creature wants me to lie
But is it for my sake?
Should the monster make my fate?

Questions always haunt my mind
Should I laugh or should I lie?
I have everyone to blame
Because nobody knows my name
