Creased Paper That Reminds Me Of Who I Could Be

  you laugh for us both
when I can't manage to bear
the worst fears we let live
that lean like the shadows we share
when the rain parts
and heaven feels so near
we cross our fingers and blink
but the world reappears
if you keep stopping my heart
I'll keep your head spinning
if dawn erases my dreams
I'll write a better beginning
