dedicated to one of cat

Today I had to say good-bye
To a very dear friend of mine
She was the most precious thing
A loving friendship she did bring

She chose me you see
Never judging or deserting
For she was there when I cried
You would always find her by my side

Every time I would hold her
She would lay her head on my shoulder
Taking hold as if to say
I will never leave you
I’m here to stay

Now I hold her with only pain
For her breath does not remain
For age has taken her energy
And I know now she has to leave me

So the tears are flowing down my face
So she can go to a better place
There she will have no more pain

and she knows

With me, her love will forever remain
and
there will never be another
CREAM
