Crash Dreams (2006) Poem by Patrick Wescott

Crash Dreams (2006)

I should have stayed the night!
Car is wrecked as I walk the miles.

Why did we go for a drink?
Because I wanted out of her bed.

Was it good for you?
Drink induced lust feels good.

Take me to your room.
My loins can't take anymore.

Are you ready to go?
We drank and ate and laughed.

What do you want to do?
The night is young and fresh.

Life is so carefree,
as you're walking out of work.
