Cracks In The Mirror Poem by Lyn Paul

Cracks In The Mirror

Rating: 4.8

When Everything
Seems hard
Life is raining
No tears flowing
Yet the mind
Is draining

Lining everyone's basket
Though not your own
Aching for sunlight
In a delightful tone

We are here
For what reason
I so often ask
Running from the demon
Into
A fresh season

Time is ticking
Heaven moves near
What the mirror reflects
Is Loud
And clear

The Lines of age
The pain it shows
The story is evident
The highs
The lows

Just of what
Life throws

Do you map your own life
Or is it mapped for you?

Time is ticking Heaven moves near What the mirror reflects Is Loud And clear.....touching expression with impressive theme. A beautiful philosophical poem on life and death is astutely delineated. Thanks for sharing.10

'Aching for sunlight In a delightful tone' - loved this expresiion. 'Time is ticking Heaven moves near What the mirror reflects Is Loud And clear' - true, but few take note of that in time. The question at the end is a dilemma mankind has pondered over centuries. My answer is, it's both!
