Covid 20 Poem by Jason Jackson

Covid 20

People are dying, Governments make platitudes
Medical staff are dying, Governments stare at their shoes
Children are dying, they defy the Government statistics
People lose jobs, homes and freedom, hello statistics

Toilet rolls, pasta, rice and hand wash
Panic buying and selfishness, by gosh
Reality checking and return to compassion
High Streets are closed, the most compelling fashion
