as i walk past
you do not see
that im trying to get you
to notice me.

walking alone
with my best smile
i try to get the courage
to approach you this time.

waiting by my locker
until i see you
this time i will
eventually talk to you.
as i see you

i cant help but stare
you look so good
just standing there.

i get ready to speak
pretend that im cool
my heart is rushing
and im not about to fall.

i get half way
and the nerves get to me
i cant talk to you
its to scary.

maybe next time,
there will come a day
when i will get enough courage
to walk your way.
