Couch Potato Poem by Juan Olivarez

Couch Potato

You lay on the couch watching t.v,
Munching on potato chips.
A couch potato for all to see,
Emptying those bowls of dip.

Swigging light beer all night long,
Watching games unknown to man.
Or a late night rerun of King Kong,
Just adding to the pile of cans.

You won't even bother to shower or shave,
You're drawing flies from far away.
Watching that screen is all you crave,
And you do it night and day.

For all you know it's Judgement Day,
You missed the Rapture by a mile.
Cause on that couch you had to stay,
To watch t.v. for a little while.
