Leonardo da Vinci, Vincent van Gogh, Nelson Mandela, Jesus Christ, Albert Einstein, simple mothers in their kitchens - The cost of exceptional genius is ridiculous, down-side risk even beyond imagination, but displaying exceptional intellectual ability, creative original artistic or engineering productivity, to a degree that is associated with the achievement of new advances is still worth every inch of risk-exposure, because the benefits for mankind are price-less, after all fixed & variable cost are sunk, and the inflammable pain outlived, the net yield's still there to outrageously benefit future generations.
