Corruption Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Corruption

Rating: 5.0

Who sets the ultimate terms
And allows a breathing space?
Emerging as devouring worms
Advancing with a smiling face

There is a forceful tendency
To impose rash restrictions
Instilling a need for dependency
Erasing annoying contradictions

Where is the architect
Who ranks first in the lot…
Sightless perception is preset
Controlling isolated thoughts

Slowing down the affects
Of an honorable design
Curbing progress and respect
Turning fraud into a shrine

Honesty is draining away…
Truthfulness is in short supply
The unborn are destine to pay
Integrity has gone awry
