Corporate Ballyhoo Poem by Charles Helt

Corporate Ballyhoo

rock 'n rollin' now boys
his neatly cut freshly pressed suit
his perfect cherry wood desk
sharpened with corporate credentials
rock 'n rollin' now boys
like his republican vote
to cut the poor mans chance
so they can sing more blues
so he can feel his money
grow on the dead coral in the once thriving sea he's killing
