Corn Poppies In May Poem by Floy Dy Ra Aka Floyd Floydson

Corn Poppies In May

Gossip poppy gossip!
Prepare your hand-claps
Practice the applause that your blossoms in full Mastering
the splendor of color like no other
let your fine, delicate petals tremble,
not made for the bottle
solely for the green-red frenzy of colour,
like a fleeting breath.
Gossip poppy gossip!
Prepare the applause.
In your mature capsule
is the sleepy poppy at home' -
do you even get scratched
Is it even opium that you sweat
that makes the consumer sleepy
and too the lazy dreamer.
A poison whose life is called addiction.
Gossip poppy gossip!
Or have you already traveled -
only on the road in dreams,
from the color frenzy
into the loneliness of the endless trip.
Intoxicated Consciousness
of manipulated happiness.
Gossip poppy gossip!
You only have shame
color and applause
are forgotten.
With the cutting sadness came
into the dreamer's house.
Gossip poppy gossip!
you seduced us
Gossip poppy gossip!
Better stay on the meadow
then nothing would have happened.
Sleep poppy sleep.
