Cooking Poem by Mariah Clary

Cooking

Rating: 5.0

Cooking is not as easy as it seems,
Measuring the right amount,
Making the right temperature,
You might burn something,
Or it might taste raw,
Remember don't dropp the turkey on the floor,
Chop the lettuce,
Slice the cucumbers,
And dice the tomatoes,
Add them together with a little dressing,
See it wasn't that stressing,
Now you have to check on the main course,
Its done,
But its going to be a pain getting it out of the oven,
It tastes kind of plain,
So lets add some pepper,
Dinner is done,
I yell for the kids and they come to the table,
But they still need to have their cable,
They fill up their plates,
And stare at their food with a look on their face,
'Whats wrong with dinner? '
They say it tastes dead,
And I thought in my head,
Well that was a waste.
