you went
before it had even started
I, left here to my own devices
to endure solemn contemplation
once again
Brief was the moment we shared
You had me startled
Conversation annihilation
I do not know what I feared
once again, it happened

Conversation annihilation could be as a result of lack of communication skills, inferiority complex (lack of self confidence) , or a case of being dazzled by a breathtaking loveliness. A lovely poem. Keep it up and thanks for sharing.
