Control Poem by Tammy Nicholls

Control

Sometimes my life will bring me down
My face becomes an endless frown
These feelings seem to stir inside
Emotions which I normally hide
They speak to me in angry tones
Rage then seem to fill my bones
Sweat appears apon my brow
My neck, my hands, I'm angry now
I must control this rage within
I will not let this anger win
Breathing deep, I close my eyes
Calming down that rage inside
Slowly feeling more like me
That angers passed, now leave me be

This one reflects how all of us feel at times. Good poem.
