Contentment Poem by Marilyn Lott

Contentment

I don't think there is anything
That means more to me
Than the feeling of contentment
For it helps me live peacefully.

I won't let the worries of the day
Play havoc with my mind
Just shove it away gently
It is the best way to live, I find.

We all have worries, of course we do
But if most of them are sent
To a special kind of garbage can
You are left with blissful contentment!
