Consider It A Blessing Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Consider It A Blessing

When that time arrives,
To hear what is needed to hear.
And see what is needed to see.
Don't turn away from it.
Or find comfort in denial.
Difficult to accept and easier,
If kept disbelieved.
Face whatever it is.
As if lessons to learn from this.

Since this is the only way,
God reveals the truth for what it is.
And it is just what it is to be that.
Done to remove from the shadows,
Who it is that deceives themselves first.
Before living their lives on lies to live.

And when that time arrives,
Consider it a blessing.
Many don't and wont.
Then not comprehend to understand,
Why it is confusion, conflict and division,
Seem to have become...
More a part of their lives than not!
