Consequences Poem by Asma Khan

Consequences

Rating: 4.0

Describe me the rising
of the blackened sun
when the breaths of
untamed desires begun

Name the most unknown
dreams within today
portray your future in the
light of those actions replay

labelled tyrant and harsh
yet soft by nature's irony
creased in milky way of
an undiscovered destiny

Depict the dawn between
the eyes of a beautiful tomorrow
where rivers of extravagance flow
with no grief, no sorrow

Voice the unbeaten notes of
unsaid words blown in yesterday
till the shadows of unseen memories
turn your eyes blue and grey

Trace me sour and sweet
between the silence of today
when the rusted eyes bring hope
and take all the pains away
