Connective Tissue
Connect my bones like ligaments
Connect my muscles like tendons
Cushion and insulate my organs
O' adipose
Get under my skin
Get deep within my bones
Connect my very nerves
O' synapse
Be elastic as my arterial walls
Be the very blood in my veins
Be irregular within my cells
O' my love
Excellent inventory of humble treasures...keeping my viscera suspended in mesentery and my muscle groups bundled in fascia...what else could be doing all that but love?
