Connection Poem by Patricia Gale

Connection

Rating: 4.8

Can you will it to be
or send physic waves across the land?

Do you burn mystic incense
and chant of things to come?

Can you or will you tell me
why you leave me so intense?

Why must you haunt my very soul
is this to be your goal?

Is it herbs of magic crushed in a silver bowl
sprinkled with a druid’s spell?

Can you tell me if you will
Are you heaven or are you hell?

Why must I see you in fire’s light
or the smile in a full moon?

Can you tell me please oh master of my thoughts
is this my final doom?

Perhaps you have kissed these lips in a time long ago
or have I been reborn to fulfill what was left undone?

Oh please tell me if you will
do I walk with you amongst the stars?

Why must you differ from the rest
and leave me dreaming in day light?

Can you tell me or will you
set me free from this never ending dream?
