Complete Solitude Poem by Oualid Alamghouz

Complete Solitude

Complete solitude

How deeply I cry for the past that has fled.
O God, The days of joy pleasure and happy hours
The mornings and evenings tranquil and sweet

How sad is my departure. never shall I forget the days of Marrakech
Gone are the beautiful hours of Café le Cristal,
The friends I used to see everyday now I have to call and some even gone

Marrakech the city of love: I left but I shall never forget thee
My God, Please help thee go back for a visit?
Homes of marrakech and the beautiful people
I miss my professors, I left behind me a beautiful city,
I shall never forget you Marrakech

Marrakech the city of dreams, the city of soft hands soft hair
The sunny days at Café le Cristal where my eyes go right and go left

The streets of good food and good music and candles ,
Now far, in deep solitude at this ugly land
I feel lonely
Stop sending me articles to read you the teacher! And give me a holiday to go back to the days of laughter and pleasure.

In complete solitude but I shall never forget you my lady Marrakech
the city in which I meet my gazelle the woman who is beautiful than the girls of ancient times.
I can not, I can not continue to speak about she, as when I think of my little power I become a madman

Oh how, Oh how it brings me pain this feeling!
I shall never forget you the city and the people,
Wait for me I'm coming back to you my lady...
