Today you must keep silent

And carry on every task

Only your ears must be lent

And no question you must ask

No occasion will arise to repent

When you wear silence as a mask

Follow this rule without any break

Will flow peace healing heart-ache

Will glow heart when calmness you take

Never give up your calm attitude

Criticize none at all while living

You will prove to be shrewd

If words you are not wrongly giving,

Let this oath be for ever continued

As you need not require others' forgiving.
