Common Hatred Poem by casmire Odinakachi Emeribe

Common Hatred

Out of the depths of my tears
You lend ears and listen
For the truth and deaf ears
To half truth
The width of a needle is wide
Enough for two friends and
Whilst the wideness of
The universe isn't enough
For two enemies
He vow not to live to see us
Come to together as one
Because of animosity and hatred
Of days of yore
When terror was the order of the family
Wish we can change this notion
The memories we have of each other
Into a day of dialogue and resolution
Where peace get all attention
Why do our faith on each other
Keep oscillating.
This enmity that has balloon with you and I
That has make us came behind the curtains
On the crux of the matter.
