I love it when we're alone
You sit here in my arms
I hold you so very close
Safe from any and all harm

The fragrance of your perfume
Smells like a summer day
When you leave the room
The scent of you will stay

Quiet times spent alone
Helps us to keep connecting
We learn that it's important
That our love is worth protecting

When two people are sharing love
Bound by a commitment
The love they share with each other
Can be a life of fulfillment

So as we travel through this life
In all the things we'll do
I will love and cherish you
Until our time is through

If I should go before you do
I'll tell you this before it's too late
That I'll be waiting there for you
