Commit Poem by Tin Can

Commit

Rating: 5.0

I say I love you everyday, but you still won't let me stay.
You always want it all your way, forever holding me at bay.
I'm forced to write this rhyme, as now it's become a crime,
Committed every time, when the fault is yours not mine.
Lying that you care, but the evidence is not there,
So I say, 'kiss me if you dare, ' and only then you'll be aware...!
Of the love I have for you. This love that makes me blue,
For I feel our pairing is overdue, and others feel it too.
You really don't know your mind, that it's hard for you to find,
The act of being kind, and not pretending to be blind.
If you were willing to be smart, you'd let me inside your heart,
And a relationship we could start, instead of forever being apart.

I was the victim of a tease. My own fault for wearing my heart on my sleeve.
