Come To Think Of It Poem by Raymond Farrell

Come To Think Of It

The US Supreme Court
Has finally legalized
Gay marriage
Given the build up
Over the years
The decision
Is no surprise
Its been legal in Europe
And Canada for a while
And those in favor
Will tell you
Homosexuality is normal
In fact they will emphasize
It is genetic
Meaning we should therefore
All accept it
Better yet embrace it
No questions asked
Well the scientific evidence
Is sketchy to say the least
But no less sketchy
Than similar evidence
That implies the same
About serial killers and pedophiles
Come to think of it
I do hope
The courts legalize serial killing
Because I have a long list
Of people in the government
I'd like to bump off
But I don't want to
Break any laws in the process.

Unfortunately making gay marriage legal might make people bold to be more openly gay, and therefore more open to attack by the lunatic fringe. thanks for the warning

The queers crave as much attention as they can get, that's why more and more gay pride parades are cropping up. All of which garnish more attention than gay marriage. Being unable to reproduce, they must recruit. It's easy to see through your phoney concern as a vehicle to make a baseless snide remark. If your concern is genuine, you should contact the mayor of Adelaide and have him cancel the gay pride parade. Let me know if you do. The poem is satirical in nature, so, I don't intend to shoot anyone, anymore than the Irish satirist Jonathan Swift expected anyone to boil and eat Irish babies. Your comment, Scotney, is the product of a paranoid delusional mind, because the poem does not advocate violence towards any gays. As a grad of the Aussie university system your reading comprehension is sadly lacking. In fact, it borders on utter stupidity.
