Come To Me Poem by Samantha Jo

Come To Me

Mist of dawn, dragon's eye
No one's here, I wonder why?
Do you know where I stand?
It's definately not on dry land
In the clouds, up so high
To get here, you must fly
Leave the earth, come to me
The Gates of Gold you'll soon see
Take a left at the storm
And angels wings you'll soon form
Smooth white feathers, Halo of gold
Never again will you be cold
Awake now, my child, come to me
The Gates of Gold you'll soon see
Leave your past behing you,
Your future is ahead of you
Come to me, child, take my hand
As I welcome you to new land
A land of white, with sky so rich
With golden clouds and somber pitch
Fall away from the earth, fly to me
Into my warm embrace, you'll see
A Holy land, a sacred place
Sunlight shining upon your face
Come to me, child, into my home
And no longer will you be alone
Never again will you hurt
Awake from your sleep in the dirt
Your family will moarn you
Angels will adore you
Trade your dark clothes for white
Come and step into the light
Into my arms, fly to me
Gates of Gold you may see
Push them open, look around
I will catch you if you fall down
Together, we may see the sea
Now, Awake! Spread your wings
Come to Me
