Come To Life's Well Poem by Michael P. Johnson

Come To Life's Well

Come eat of food true love's prepared
Drink heartily one and all
Completely free, most willingly shared
Be quick before last call

Let Knowledge of God make you wise
Ones faith, find Christ on high
Life's Councillor beyond the skies
Reveal you'll never die

Believe true, God's Word in action
What readers most dumbfound
Let love, smile at your reaction
Lead you to higher ground

Let the facts no further tarry
Let Truths, linger no more
Let ones conscience swiftly carry
Through knowledge, wisdom's door

Fruit from Heaven's storehouse given
Daily, God's children bestowed
Selflessly, eagerly, driven
To lift another's load

So are life's thoughts, love's graceful deeds
Christ's followers unite
Ridding God's field of thorns and weeds
Growing devoid of Light

Drink water from Salvation's Well
Come at The Father's will
Where one's soul flees from hell
Come drink! receive your fill

Immeasurably real, completely true
Place yours! in Jesus hand
God's granted me, He's offering you
Come! join Life's loyal band.....
