Come To Life's Door Poem by Michael P. Johnson

Come To Life's Door

Are you lost, still foolish dying?
Blind to life's guiding Light
The living Christ Jesus, denying
Faltering day and night

Content with life, all comforts been
With peace joy somewhat wealth
On pleasures past on which to lean
Living out years of health

Consider inside, deep down within
The time when old and grey
Consider thoughts, words, deeds of sin
Consider Judgement, day

Consider now, a little more
Did Christ your soul yet save?
Which future will open its door?
Beyond reality's grave

Now is the time, here, the place
Relinquish life's foul shame
On bended knees, seek Heaven's grace
In Christ Jesus Holy Name

Whatever you think, say or do
Believe Heaven's Decree
No other source can offer you
Joy's eternal! Guarantee

Come sinners now, walk run or crawl
Sick, dying, rich or poor
Life's beyond death, judgement's last call
Come, unto Heaven's Door

Reject Satan's demonic weed
Believe God's Word foretold
Accept Life's facts, Life's Truth, Life's Seed
Live, where the streets are gold.....
