Come Out And Play Poem by Ima Ryma

Come Out And Play

I hear that human studies say
That in the game of life I do
Seem to really have fun in play,
And not just work the whole day through.
I take time out to bounce a ball.
So far no one will play with me.
I guess such fun's not for us all.
A ball's to be or not to be.
Oh yes, I'm a show off at heart.
Bright flowers in my teeth I stick,
Pretending I'm a work of art,
Daring all - my flowers to pick.

Human studies do make me smile,
Cuz I'm a playful crocodile.
