With the day’s burdens and tiresome chores
Let me share the weight on my shoulders
And feel your hair on my chest

Come put your arms around me
And let me protect you fragile body
In my warm embrace
Just for tonight, don’t let go

Come and close your eyes
Feel my heartbeat
Listen to it speak
While I listen to your breath

Come lie with me
No words are needed
Let me seal your mouth with a kiss
And gently caress your body
