Come Let Me In Poem by Lyndsey Grant

Come Let Me In

Rating: 3.8

I will not play games with you,
I simply don’t have the time
Or energy it takes
To care enough
To be stubborn.
I will be easy and breezy,
Flow like river to the sea,
Sailing across with ease,
So fresh, so carefree.
Gliding over the fog
With all the casualty,
Never letting the wind
Whirl me around
And take hold of me.
I will ask of you not,
And want of you naught.
No trap shall be set
For which you can be caught.
For I don’t care
Anymore,
I’ve left all definitions at the door,
And I’m knocking for you
To come,
And let me in.
