Come Join Me Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

Come Join Me

Rating: 0.5

Water of life flow like a healing
Nihilism in the fine arts
Pagan symbols rise like Nietzsche
I must escape

Retreat with my serenity prayer
Your thighs, your garter belts
A few walks and glimpses of nature
It's all over for me

My world is a peak hole
Voyeur
The quiet
Old antiques from my parents

Here and there a photo
No more changing the world
No more bad news
I know what's next

No contests
No chess matches
I reject the world
My darling? Come join me?
