Come Back! ! !
You give your hand to me
And then you say goodbye
I watch you walk away
Then I start to cry
You will never know
The one who loves you so
I'm just a friend
That's all I've ever been
The one who dreams of you at night
And the one who longs to hold you tight
I've been Afraid and Shy
I've let my chance go by
The way you look at me
Seems to be a mystery
Somehow I just don't believe it
Will you ever come back to me
So Darling please come back
That's all i'm asking
someone is waiting for you
You know it's true
Just come back to me
I guess I lost my way
There's nothing more I can say
If there's something important
I will not stand in your way
So I'm begging you to stay
Please I'm asking you to come
back.....

T0 beg for a love one to come back would be sort of an illusion.... love must be a two way connection who have feel the same intensity! If one leaves for a reason then let it be, if someone leaves there has to be a better one coming who is worth your love! High marks.
SWEET! It so pleads, you can see the imagery of the come alive. The structures, both poetic and plot is well literated. CUDOS! (sorry, sugar high)
I am not sure if you are familiar with Ray Charles. He was a singer and wrote songs. A song of his called 'You dont know me', you might find very interesting. Try to download it a give it a listen.. It has a similar message I'm sure you would like.. Great writing..Maxwell
