Colorless Feeling Poem by Sandra Feldman

Colorless Feeling

Rating: 5.0

Loneliness is a colorless feeling,
It's like a drab and painful holler,
From deep down inside,
Perhaps, best exemplified
In Munch's painting, The Scream
Where the deep pain of loneliness may reside,
That you cannot kill and you cannot hide.

Colors? I love poems with colors, in fact I wrote a poem for a friend once named colors, I wrote it because her poetry was as if looking at the different shades And hues that glows off her every letter and word, loneliness is a tough culprit to deal with because as you point out...pain always walks hand in hand with it. A good poem you have written here! ! ! !
