Color Poem by Taylor Ryan

Color

Watchful eyes
always see
colors of men
women too
hearts play
at the cruelness
of such blue
pink comes out
only to be black
the color may last
until dawn shoots
stars fall
blue surrounds
white is dyed
green comes through
wishes are string
colors can't disappear
such souls visible
the observer cannot
witness such color
if only to look within
eyes will close
block out such acts
the meaning all too clear.
What color remains?
