Coffee stain on my book..
What does it mean, what does it stand for?
No significant meaning?
Or is there something more?
Just like a memory,
the stain cannot be removed..
You can 'clean' it up,
but the stain will remain there forever true..
A scar on my 'paper',
what a beautiful mess I made..
What's done cannot be undone
I once heard someone said..
Whatever it is, the 'book'
can never be the same..
Like losing your innocence,
with the scar to remind you of your pain..
Losing it's perfection
through my little mistake..
My little 'coffee stain'
forever on this 'page'...

Good metaphor. Fine penning. I enjoyed your poem. It is true that life's joys and sorrows make their mark, and while wounds can close and heal, the harshness of memories can fade, and harmful acts can be forgiven, the scars still remain. It is better to be a source of joy than a source of sorrow.
