Codename - Mr. X Poem by Masha Danevasha

Codename - Mr. X

Rating: 5.0

A tumble into fallen oak leaves
Bear hugs in the anonymous motel rooms
That awful taquila
I'll never forget your gaze -
trapped animal yarning to be free
Saddled with the chain of responsibility
He can not shirk
A good man
You made me a better woman
For I know now what a wife should never be -
A burden
Thank you... Maybe in another life
