'' Co-Operation And Love Reassures '' Poem by Bri Mar

'' Co-Operation And Love Reassures ''

I have no desire,
But to inspire,
Our descendants, the next generation,
It may backfire,
But at least they'll acquire,
The seeds of a solid foundation.

We may not agree,
But I'll let them see,
They're important and valued by us,
While young and carefree,
We hold the key,
Though they'll ask, what's all the fuss.

It's from adults they learn,
Their respect we must earn,
Hopefully one day they'll do the same,
Though some cause concern,
Don't be too stern,
We've all dreamt of fortune and fame.

Don't ever hide,
We are their guide,
Be there if problems arise,
Don't stand aside,
Less generations collide,
None of us are here to chastise.

Praise what is right,
They will see the light,
In this journey we all mistakes,
If you keep this in sight,
Their future is bright,
Any problems, press hard on the brakes.

Yes, it's true,
Do see it through,
The next generation is yours,
The future they pursue,
Is now down to you,

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
We never did that in our day! a common phrase used by generations since time began, the only thing that really changes is technology, apart from that we still make the same mistakes made by those who went before, tolerance and respect cost nothing, the rewards are worth a fortune.
