Closer To Your Heart (Saranghe) Poem by Doris Cornago

Closer To Your Heart (Saranghe)

Rating: 5.0

Rhythm of my ❤️
Sets the pace of my life
Wondering how long
These legs can carry
Keep pace with merry

Seeking some light
In the sorrow and blight
Please don't get tired
Of putting some color
On the road up ahead

Standing up on tiptoes
Gazing far as it glows
Tracking silver clouds
Spreading arms wide
Inhale, exhale, beguile

Every movement beckons
Each key gains momentum
Steps falter, stay together
Enclosing you in a circle
Circling free rhythmically

Don't know for how long
Yet am content for now
You've held me so warmly
Spoken to me ever softly
Closer to your heart enfold

Saranghe...

(A poem for those who are losing a sense of direction when things don't go the way they thought they should. I look at Nugz and see a purposeful look. He knows nothing of the outside world but the little he knows, he's perfectly assured. He's loved and that's enough. Pure love expecting nothing else but to be loved back, without conditions. That's perfection.)

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
My daily companion reminds me how love should be like a dance, enjoying each other, not withholding, being free and without any other thought but your partner.
COMMENTS OF THE POEM

This is Nugz comic exoression. When I am stressed from work, he gives me this look as if saying, shucks, youre looking so blaah, can you please change that face? That look never fails to make me laugh. ;)
