Are hearts are close but we are far,
Doesn't stop us from who we are,
Me and you, you and me,
That's how it's supposed to be,

You take my hand, I'll take yours,
We'll explore this land of ours,
Hand in hand, not far away,
This is how it'll be some day,

When you cry I hold you tight,
I hold my tears but I have to fight,
Happy together we will be,
We will last through eternity,

Every detail I do hold dear,
For losing you, is my true fear,
As long as you are with me,
I will always live my life happily,

You and I are meant to be,
When we met you set me free,
no longer lonely, never to be sad,
There is no way this will ever go bad,

With you at my side, my true love,
As graceful as a mourning dove,
For me to meet you was my pleasure,
For you are my greatest treasure.
