Climate Change Poem by Sidi Mahtrow

Climate Change

Man is endowed with many a talent
But affecting the climate is without
For greater forces are at work on the planet
Than man's simply carbon balance.

Adapt and live with it, we all must
For as the saying goes, In God We Trust
As time and history records, galore
This old earth's been there before.

And to believe that we have the primary influence
Is as Chanticleer believing that the sun rises at his insistence.

A Climate Change Sceptic

A Climate Change sceptic his political party does lead
That is if you believe all you hear of and read
Supposed to be a talented and clever human being yet he cannot see
What to most others seem obvious as obvious as can be
The alternative Prime Minister of many of us what does this say
That we cannot see what is happening in our Natural Environment of today
The Polar ice caps melting as sea levels rise
All of these things are happening right before our eyes,
On the reality of Climate Change can we not agree
That our greatest challenge in the twenty first century
Is to cut back on carbon emissions to slow down Climate Change
And that of such so many are in denial is to say the least strange?
And the alternative Prime Minister is a Climate Change sceptic believe it if you may
But by ignoring Global Warming it won't go away.
