Skies grey and tears fall from heaven
As I wait alone on a empty cliff
With a little candle by my side
To give me a little bit of hope
Reminding me to never lose faith
That one day you will return
Until then I wait patiently for you
Sending you messages over the water
That took you far away from me
My love is unchanged for you
My heart aches for your arrival
My tears fall into the ocean
Never getting to far from the cliff
Lighting dances across the grey sky
And the rain lands on my face
To cover the tears I always cry
Until you return I will cry these cliff tears
