Days, months, and years go by
And my heart is breaking
For all the pain I felt
Because of you
Relationships are to bring
Happiness not pain
There is a child with in me
Crying and hiding in the shadows
This child wants to be free
She tried of crying
Tried of running
And tried of hiding in the shadows
She was happy when I was with you
Now I act strong when really I am weak
I hold back all my tears
Not thinking about the child with in me
She is the one suffering
Holding my tears she is drowning
Now I hope and pray
I can set her free
And hoping when I do I too will be free
And then we both can enjoy happiness
As we did when we were young
Having no worries and no problems
I need someone to help me
Save the child with in me
